Great game!

Its a really great game and I love the animations, but I have a few problems, what does it mean by eat three "breads"? And how do I add to my pack? I have 1 cat in my pack but it wont let me add anymore. Another thing, how do I get kittens? If anyone can answer plz do, but other than that its by far one of the best games Ive downloaded! Thanks!
